I'm no expert but it seems like you're trying to start it from the game directory. That's not where you put games. If you already have it in the disc folder, delete the one in the game folder. If I had to make any guesses.

You're not on the current master build, try updating rpcs3 and see if it still happens.
Of course, the same problem. As i said above, i've tested on all versions of emu and every existing version of game-file.

So the game is running pretty decently on a 4790k with 16 gigs of ram and a 1070. So I'm thinking, the next step would be Reshade.. I saw some dude on Reddit test it and the results look fantastic. However, I have no idea how to get it working with RPCS3... does anyone have any experience with this or sweetfx... post-processing effects in general?
How is it possible that people completed the game when I can't play more than 20-30 minutes and get the

Error? Is there something I'm missing?
You probably have a driver issue, try with a clean install (use DDU) of your graphic drivers.

I ALWAYS use DDU, i'm using the drivers version 388.13 (nvidia)
Of all the games I play on this emulator, this is the only one I had problems with, I don't think it's a driver issue.
Sorry I couldn't be of help then, to be honest, I did a full playthrough of the game (around 30 hours) a few months ago, and I had a fair amount of crashes, though usually in the form of "RPCS3 has stopped working" or the game just freezing. Usually happened when I entered a new area that wasn't cached.
I feel like my laptop should be able to handle this but i'ts dropping frame rate constantly.
I'm using a spectrex360
Core i7 - 7500U CPU @ 2.70GHz 2.90GHz
16.0 GB RAM
Intel UHD Graphics 620 (which is the only thing I can imagine to be holding me back.
what are your thoughts?
