Lol, really? All i said was that not having a log file means its not very useful for debugging an issue.

No one said we're not taking issues seriously, but for the past 4 hours I've been talking to someone who is actually playing Ni No Kuni and its not affecting him, or me. The issue seems to only affect you as far as I can tell and audio issues are usually just manifested by low performance.
I tested the game.
There is indeed a slight audio stutter but it's only in the main menu. once you go ingame, there is no stutter anymore.
I thank you fifazalata.

it's fixed in 7273.

PS: I'm not a Tester Asinine, and not a dev either, i don't have also the time to engage in this seriously, but I try to help, the best that I can. Cuz as I said, I love this project.

again, my specs are: 16gb ram 2933mhz, Ryzen 1600 3.85ghz, gtx 1070 ti.
it's not 5.0ghz 8700k but I'm playing Ni No Kuni just fine (in small bursts cuz I can't play it all day long, everyday)
Np Slyponto
Plz next time try to provide a log
And think about joining rpcs3 discord.
It would be easier to communicate with the devs and the community through it.

I'm mostly at 30fps now and hardly ever go below 25fps on a 4790k. I think it's safe to put the game back to playable status Smile Will report back if I encounter any crashes. Have the day off tomorrow and will play for several more hours Big Grin

Edit: I have now played somewhere between 5 to 10 hours on 0.0.5-6692 and just got my first crash, but not one I've gotten before.  It seemed like it was an issue with the graphics driver. Any point uploading the log? Anyway... the crashes we had before seems totally gone.

Could you share your settings?

Late reply, but I unfortunately can't anymore...
After finishing NNK I moved on to Demon's Souls and changed settings. It's been too long and I can't remember, sorry.
I tried with latest build 7505 this beautiful game and the graphics and audio was almost perfect 30fps..... but crashes every time tried all of sorts of settings, renders, etc... but nothing seems to work.... where can i find 6692 build? the download link was remove for older builds.... the only thing i tried it is set resolution scale to 100% default, it seems reduce the crashs but still there... not even able to get the firts save section!!!

Any update? ni no kuni 2 has a release on pc but this game not.... i want to play it so badly
I tried the game with the last build (7576) and the game works well, but it crash a lot of times. I tried different configurations with the same problem. Someone can play the game without problems?

Thanks
I can report that I've been playing the game for about 13 hours (not continuously!) and have had little to no problems other than a few strange crashes in Hamelin and on the Porco Grosso fight, which can mostly be fixed by switching renderers. For example, the OpenGL renderer gave an "unknown primitive 128" crash during Porco Grosso (the log is here https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Oe4MM-...kdtKKDCAeb) but this has only happened once.

My settings are all default with Vulkan renderer (try switching to OpenGL if you have problems) and I have a decent PC (Ryzen 5 1500X, GTX 970, Win10).

I don't know what the strict requirements for marking a game as "Playable" are but I've been able to get through the first third of the game on build 7658, so it seems fully Playable to me!
