i got past the jelly fight by temporarily putting the game on easy since it seemed to freeze if the battle went on to long. this way i was able to end the battle quickly and move on.
since i have been using the most recent build and while there are occasional freezes they dont seem to be as often, but frame rate seems to have taken a hit. i was pretty much locked a 30 fps with occasional dips to around 25, but now im often around 15, and during the candelabracadabra fight i was at 8 making the fight a slog.

This game became absolutely unplayable on the version 0.0.4-6195-3fbc960c Alpha. It just hangs in minutes, sometime in seconds after loading a save indefinitely. I haven't changed any settings before updating to this version. What do I do wrong?

Same here. Looks like it's better to use some old build.
The lighting on title and cutscenes should be fixed now get the latest build. as for the hang it should be fine with OGL, but i can't say without knowing the error and no one provided log. If you want help best place is

Just noting that as of 31/1/18 that the cutscene bug is still present.
Attempted to play the game yesterday and ran into it. I'll wait till this bug is fixed before I start a play through of the game in this emulator. Having to anticipate when a cutscene is going to end to skip it prior is just too annoying.
Does it still crash and run slowly?
