I tried using default settings originally but it wouldn't get past the snip below. I tried following the settings above with the PPU Decoder Intepreter (Static), Multithreated RSX, and ZCULL Aprroximate (Fast). I would have tried the other settings, but I couldn't find them in the options; maybe they were removed due to be deprecated. Either way, I couldn't get past the screen below.

Unless there's settings that I missed, this may need to be downgraded to Intro.

@Ani It still froze, but I think it took longer before doing so.

Update: This is actually in-game. However it's finicky just getting to the menu as it takes a few tries. If you do make it in game, the performance is rough; fps is consistently in the teens and there are graphical glitches. It is still prone to freezing.
But it booted in on default settings.
