I try 10297,and only your trapErr patch.yml,but same problem. No error message just freezing the screen always.

what you showed just now, i was struggling the same spot (elevator) before till I applied what Aphelion Gaming mentioned error trap patch (step by step):


Try using those files
1) rpcs3-v0.0.9-10297 (new directory)
2) Patch.yml             ===>  TLoU(CE)_Patch(TrapErr).rar         [or create your own trap error Big Grin !! (trailer & error if interested)]
3) TLoU_1_11.CT      ===>  
TLoU(CE)_Patch(TrapErr).rar
4) Use Cheat Engine.exe (apply setting mentioned)


Better to use cheat engine, since it is flexible with changing setting while gaming.
DON'T use Mega SPU block size, other setting are ok.  (since ur Ryzen 2600, no problems with enabling accurate RSX reservation access)
DON'T uses this Patch.yml (from wiki) to bypass the crash, since Disable inbuilt MLAA might cause the crash even rpcs3-v0.0.9-10297

   Enabe "Disable inbuilt MLAA" mean MLAA (Post on Spu) = 1
Bypass elevator crash with MLAA (Post on Spu) = 0
Wow man! I dont know how,but i did it. Big Grin New directory 10297. trappErr patch. Cheat engine. Depth buffer, and MLAA post on spu set 0,and the game not freezing,only black screen.
i waiting and the game say push R3 to flashlight. And this save copy the old save and go away! Smile

Here are another tips for you. It is an optional setting. It might be useful to avoid crashes in specific chapters.  Disable optional setting after use!! 
  • In Financial district chapter, better to play using CheatEngine setting & Res Scale =100% + MLAA (Post on Spu) = 1 
  • In Unversity chapter, better to play using CheatEngine setting & Res Scale =100% + MLAA (Post on Spu) = 1 + LLVM Accurate DFMA: false (manually from cutsom config folder)
&& you are ready to finish the game + DLC
Hi to everyone, I've just installed The Last Of Us BCUS98174 version 1.11 and the newest patch available for it. I run the last version of rpcs3 emulator as well (updated just now).
Jet, when I try to start the game, after loading for a bit it gives me this error:
F {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00a55684]} VM: Access violation reading location 0x0 (unmapped memory)

What can I do about it? I've tried to reboot the game, the emulator and the pc (typical thing to do when you have no idea of what is going on Wink) but nothing worked.

Again stuck! Sad  When Ellie fight David in the restaurant. Too many times freezing the game. I can't beat her.
In here i think the lightining glitch is the problem. See the attachment for the problem. I tried everything but not helped.

I got no freezing issue at all.  The chapter Cabin Resort performed pretty well.  I just re-tested now.  Just follow my 2nd main report setting + CheatEngine setting.  You might need use default setting for
  • Vblank freq. = 60Hz
  • Frame Limit = Auto 
  • Disable Write Color Buffers (GPU)
  • MLAA (Post on Spu) = 0
I uploaded log.file for further consideration.

Not heleped Sad  I create a video again. Maybe my cheat engine settings are bad!?  Or my CPU  Big Grin ...really

You shouldn't use trapErr patch anywhere Sad . ONLY at 2-crashes scence.  Btw, press Ctrl+2, a shortcut buttom to apply for CheatEngine setting Smile

Just a simple reminder list for optional setting to bypass specific chapters.  (disable them after use; it might freeze your game or crash it !!)

Hotel Lobby Chapter (Elevator Crash #1):
  • TrapError Patch
  •  rpcs3-v0.0.9-10297 (new directory)
Financial District Chapter:
  • Res Scale =100%
  • CheatEngine setting MLAA (Post on Spu) = 1
University chapter:
  • Res Scale =100%
  • CheatEngine setting MLAA (Post on Spu) = 1 
  • LLVM Accurate DFMA: false (manually from custom config folder)
Underground Tunnel Chapter (Flooded Bus Door Crash #2)
  • TrapError Patch
Other remaining chapters (+DLC) are defaulty performing well & flawless with either CheatEngine or patch.ytml (patch.ytml without Disable inbuilt MLAA code)
You can use updated version of RPCS3 except for Crash #1.
You can use Res. Upscaling. It’s depend on your GPU.
That's more work than getting an old dos game to work in Windows 10. I think I'll just wait till it's properly playable from start -> finish without having to do several work arounds.
