I noticed that I get an ERROR upon booting of RPCS3.

E SIG: Thread [Vulkan Device Enumeration Thread] is too sleepy. Waiting for it 32673.002µs already!
- SYS: Firmware version: 4.90

I loaded an older build of RPCS3 and this error does not show. So something has changed with the emulator and vulkan??

Run vkdiag and fix any issues that it detects. If it still doesn't work, post the output of vkdiag.

i would appreciate your help on this matter as well

other games on steam and bottles run well
but every emulator that i want to run natively through appimage is not working with that same error Vulkan Device Enumeration Thread

it seems like a wayland or nvidia issue with vulkan

BTW emulators work fine on linux with flatpak and it is my only workaround ATM but unfortunately RPCS3 flatpak is not maintained by your devs + it has so slow updates over the course of a month maybe 1 or 2 times a month

please any help from you is appreciated since you also use ARCH based Linux system

i use CashyOS
MSI x670 Gaming plus
7800x3d
RTX 4070
2x16GB Kingston 6000MT/
