Been playing most of the way through the game without many problems, aside from audio clipping on anything louder than dialogue, and poor performance (anywhere from 5 fps in busy areas, to ~20-30 in more simple zones. FPS is high when looking at the ocean around the map)
Running on PPU LLVM and SPU LLVM offers a playable enough experience, if you can get past above issues, but when you finally get to the Historic district, with kessler and such, one of the new First Son enemies you encounter crashes the game, consistently, if you attack it at all. This is the one that's a bit large, with a pink outline. This is the only enemy that crashes the game. From this point on, SPU must be switched to ASMJIT to complete the game. This, unfortunately brings upon itself its own host of problems (audio becomes more broken, random ambient noises in my left ear specifically, like glass breaking and what sounds like cars? Sometimes crash if you get too low on health). The game should be playable to the end, but it's a pretty bad experience overall. Just be aware before you start!

Upgraded PC this week to a i7 10700KF + GeForce RTX 2060 and what a world of difference that has made for this game. Much of the audio stuttering is gone (though not entirely) and the frame rate is very nice now. Generally between 20-40's fps.

Still have some graphical glitches, like at the beginning when your in the fire zone, the fire embers appear as translucent without any fire or ash textures applied. Plays really damn nicely though. With the frame rate now good, I may attempt a new play through.

Heya, I've been playing through Infamous 1 and in the second mission "Escape the City" there is a point where it asks you to aim and fire at an object to open the door. However, when I aim with L1 and then fire with R1, the bolt will always fire in a specific direction, but not where I am aiming. I can aim at an enemy and the bolt will consistently fire and "land" in the same spot. The landing point is usually a building.

I can affect it by walking around, so if I move away from the area I can regain the ability to fire where I actually aim. However, it doesn't stay and seemingly at random the ability to fire where I am looking stops working.

Around the same time, enemies will disappear and reappear, and I cannot shoot or hit them. I suspect the bolt is being affected by this, but it could also be something else entirely.

I shared my infamous save with a popular YouTuber but I haven't heard back. I'm wondering if the issue I'm having is something that's known - I don't see it in any of the reports on these threads or in the in-game compatibility page that I've been referred to, so I figured I'd mention it here!

So had a play of the game last night and recorded gameplay:

Overall runs pretty well, but the framerate does vary all over the place. Ranges from 15-35 fps most of the time. Some missing graphics on fire particles. Missions 1-2 covered in the above video. I did not encounter the targeting bug that was mentioned.

I plan on doing a complete play through, so will provide further links as I proceed through it. I would call the game "playable" but of course that's subjective to what you would label that. No crashes or major issues encountered. Funny thing with this game, is that even with the constant frame jumping all over the place (refer to my videos below), since the audio is fine most of the time, the game is very much in a playable state despite it.

Bugs / Issues:
* Broken shadows
* Flickering textures (occasionally)
* Framerate - The framerate is all over the place. Still playable however.
* Emulator freeze and lock up, sometimes when the game is reloading to a check point on you failing a mission. Requires restarting the game and losing your progress
* Stuttering Audio when lots of things going on. Combat in particular
* TV screen display's too bright and cannot be seen through windows beyond a blur

Mind the double post, but as I was able to play the game from start -> finish without much issues, and there wasn't much in the way of the major issues, I would call this game playable. Refer to my bugs and issues section above, but it's playable to me.

Unable to finish this Disc version for same issue as others. The Price freezes on any bolt attacks to pink outlined enemy. Was able to complete the mission by using the hammer attack (triangle) to kill any of these types of pink outlined enemies. However, these enemies occur in many missions past the Price so I was unable to complete the game.

I was able to pull the HDD game from my PS3 (NPUA80480) which does not show this bug. Had to enable Accurate Xfloat in CPU options or ASMJIT in order to make it past repetitive crashes on the second island. Performance was an issue with slowdowns occurring often.

Not sure if this title has regressed but it now crashes with error "VM: Access violation reading location 0x8c (unmapped memory)" on stock settings. Unable to find a setting that fixes it. Somewhat unrelated but inFamous 2 is also crashing to desktop but with no error at all, just total crash after compiling PPU modules.

Haven't played through the whole game, but getting 20-30 FPS on average
RPCS3 v0.0.25-14471-e2c1547d with Ryzen 5950X and RTX 3090Ti

When using Resolution Scaling (200%), some depth is broken, as visible on Cole's face in the attached screenshot, regardless of ZCull and Depth Buffer settings.
