A bit late to the table here. I am trying my best to get All Pro Football 2K8 to work on the RPCS3 emulator. But it loads up and gets stuck on the loading screen. It won't even come up with the press start bit.

All out of idea. Can anyone help?

you need to enabled cpu blit emulation under debug settings and enable write color buffers under gpu settings.
it will work then

I have tried all the recommended setting but I can not get it to go to the start screen. It comes up saying compiling shaders and get stuck there.

Hi everyone. I have the game mostly working. The only problem is that the controller wants to zip through several options in the menu. It is like it is set to skip 3 or 4 when I slightly press it. This includes the analog stick or the D-Pad. I am using a Xbox One controller with Windows 10. I have attached a log from my last play session. I did put the XInput1_3.dll in my RPCS3 directory. Thanks in advance.

Did you ever figure this out? My DS4 controller is spamming inputs as well.

True and extremely depressing at the same time

Way late reply, but I ended up figuring out that it was because I was running with an uncapped frame rate. I set the frame limit in the GPU tab to 60 and haven't had any issues.

Hope it helps!

I think it's worth having someone with "lower-end" hardware (1600, 8400, etc) take a look a this game... Framerates are all over from 30-60 in normal gameplay and all the way down to single digits during reviews on my system - Even the 9900KF shown above cannot maintain 60 FPS.

Some of this is due to the log being spammed with "{PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [HLE:0x008134a8, LR:0x005f4d04]} cellMic: cellMicIsAttached(dev_num=0)" and silencing logs can improve performance slightly (at the time of writing this).

Game speed is not tied to the frame rate and it seems "playable" on my system, but 30 FPS feels "choppy" and it may be hard to actually play this game if a reasonable framerate can't be maintained.

Build: 0.0.12-11059-b9988523-Alpha
CPU: 8700k (stock)

Required settings: Force CPU blit emulation is needed to get in game.
