Using LLVM plus accurate xfloat still has the same issue, mentioned above, game unresponsive after skipping intro, logs attached. (the 7z file)
Using ASMJIT + Mega or Giga block size basically fixes any clear performance issue, which was present to an extent during the intro movie before the menu, but despite the game already maintaining a perfect 30fps and no graphical lag, there is still a lot of audio crackling in the new game cutscene and there are no consistent changes with different settings except for trying OpenGL renderer (which has some graphical issues in the game), so it doesn't feel like a performance issue. Logs attached of my latest run of the game (the gz file)
Thanks for the help though, since these settings are clearly better at running the game, that's obvious in the intro movie.

The game runs smoothly outside of the audio — it stutters so much that I can barely play it. I was wondering if anyone could help.

AMD A12-9720P RADEON R7 12 COMPUTE CORES 4C+8G
2.70 GHz

Not sure if my computer just can't handle it or if there's another build that might suit it better. Currently using RPCS3 v0.0.5-7337-ed7012c9_win64.

 Logs are attached.

The game still hangs on black screen without sound after finishing the first ending. CPU is still under heavy load just as it is emulating / processing something. I wonder if it's something about my game copy or just known issue? Or did anyone ever pass this certain point of the game?

My latest test build was (rpcs3-v0.0.5-7345).

@"bearzatti" That processor is weak, audio issues are to be expected. RPCS3 is quite demanding when it comes to CPU performance we're emulating the cell processor after all.
But, you can try using Vulkan and you should ALWAYS use a frame limiter of 30 for NieR. SPU LLVM may also help, i'm not positive but I think it works with NieR. If SPU LLVM causes any graphical issues just turn "accurate xfloat" on.

@"Janus" If you want, you can verify your game dump using PS3 iso rebuilder. People have finished all endings on Gestalt and Replicant as far as I know.

Thanks for your suggestion @"Asinine" I have managed to check the files with PS3 iso rebuilder but from what I've seen it looks like there is no important file is missing or corrupted. I'm added the ss from PS3 iso rebuilder result as an attachment.

I have a much better processor (AMD Ryzen 7 1700 at 3.5GHz) and experience the stuttering as well when using Vulkan. The game runs better and without audio stuttering using OpenGL for me.
Additionally, SPU LLVM causes a crash at the menu screen for me.
This was using RPCS3 v0.0.5-7390-8e268aed Alpha.

EDIT:
I am experiencing a weird lighting issue in some spots. Here's a clip:

EDIT 2:
Not sure which update exactly broke it, but OpenGL is now super laggy for me in this game. I had 30fps with no dips and no audio stuttering using it previously (as mentioned above).
Currently using RPCS3 v0.0.5-7390-8e268aed Alpha.

Hi WizardGandledorf. This problem with sound is really old, but you didn't saw that because powerful GPU. I'm trying to understand how the load on the graphics card is interconnected with the stutter of sound and it turned out that when the load is more than 30%, the stutter begins and the more the load, the more the sound stutters. I opened the page with issue https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/5182. But my GPU MX150 is weak compared to yours, that's why you do not see a decrease in performance.
Try to reduce the resolution of the picture, I think the lags with sound will disappear.
bearzatti, for this game CPU power is not very important, but as I wrote, this game need a GPU, that is much powerful that it need for preventing audio stuttering.

Don't try and go below 1280x720 you won't get any extra performance and may face serious compatibility issues. Also there was a performance regression with Nier from ruipins shader changes. But it's being looked into as we speak and he has already found the issue after bisecting NieR.

So when I attempt to boot this game. The log says boot successful and then nothing happens at all. Ram and CPU usage go up a little bit, so something is happening. The game never loads though, and a window never propagates. I tried many settings, but maybe not the right ones.

Any suggestions?
