I also decrypted the PUP file that was in an Update folder within the game folder, this of course led to a bunch of files, one being the update_files.tar
Upon extraction I found a bunch of PKG files which according to PS3tools aren't really PKG files.
If anyone has ideas or if the devs of RPCS3 wan't to help grace us with the beauty of Demon's souls running on PC, feel free to respond.

Don't expect it to go in-game in next 2-3 years, at least. For it actually to be playable in some form I'd suggest you to come back in ~5 years. Also there are 100s, if not 1000s of games, which crash with an access violation and which have been crashing with such an error, since they have been loadable.

PS3_UPDATE folder includes the files of minimum PS3 FW that needs to be installed to run the game. If your running on a lower version than the required FW version, those files will be used to update your PS3 system to the version that is required to play the game.

I doubt I'm contributing much, but I figured I test this one out of curiosity. There does seem to be fewer errors since that February error log. The "Unsupported SPU Thread options" errors remain the same.

My thoughts: Stop testing pointless games, that wont run for at least a couple more years. I also feel you haven't read the FAQ.

Also, always provide the full log, if you want support or developers to even take a look and see, if they can fix some stuff to get the game running. Half-assed logs are of no use.

Sorry, I could have sworn I added the full log as an attachment. I'll attach it again, not that it's welcome. I only tested the game because I don't have many games to test anyway. Of course I didn't expect it to run.

I'm sorry if I sounded a bit mean. The game does seem to use SPURS though. It wont probably run until more of it is implemented, which will be a while.

Are you by chance a developer? I'm just wondering if they know, and if enough people ask for it, perhaps they can make it a priority?
