This is an issue related to profile creation or autosave. Here's a quick guide to get the game running on the latest emulator versions without requiring saves from other users:

1. Download the latest build that supported Splinter Cell HD & Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow HD (build v0.0.29-15518 | date: 2023.08.22)
https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3-binaries-...0_win64.7z

2. On this build, install the firmware (any; 4.90 and 4.92 tested) and the game with its respective update (v1.01). Then, start the game and start a new game (so it creates a profile) and close the emulator.

3. Copy the "dev_hdd0" folder and paste (or replace) it in the main directory where the "RPCS3.exe" executable is located.

With this done, the game starts without problems. Tested with Splinter Cell HD [NPEB00527] and Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow [NPEB00528]. Enjoy!

NOTE: In SC1 the opsat won't open! SCPT works ok.
