If you get only 16 fps even with a race with one AI opponent then yeah this definetly wont help with your performance actually 16fps was lowest ive ever saw and it was when I started playing and emulator was building Mega SPU cache/Compiling shaders with 16 AI models on screen at same time. I wanted to record gameplay but it tanks my performance probably because my CPU is already at its peak in gameplay usage is at 80-95% when game is working at full speed(30fps). There are certain tracks with worse performance where it dips at certain spots to about 26-28 fps occasionaly for a very short time but overall its very playable I actually almost completed whole game already(now I have like 15 races left).
