If you want to bypass the error just use one of the old versions of rpcs3. It doesn't have the fixed text yet but should be enough for you to get past the error. Then switch back to the newest built until the error pops up again.
I use this version ->rpcs3-v0.0.4-2017-11-27-695b4c1f to get past the error.

That´s what I´m doing too. Just want to help to fix it but real life isn´t giving me much time either right now. I try around a bit more.
1 issue I had on a other emulator could only be fixed when I turned off all my virual cores and then the game could continue.
The same on smartphone roms. Trial and error from the best but its fun.
