Since of the latest patches (i think from 26/09/20 date) the game became much darker even with the brightness up to 10 in the game.
I didn't do anything with the settings since the first setup, just enjoyed the game with 60 FPS & 4K Resolution.
Is any one can help me plz? Since its got way darker i cant see in well in many places of the game.

Try clearing shaders cache, update your GPU drivers if you're on NVIDIA or Intel, and try again

Hi, i'm running demon's souls with 60 fps patch and the recommended settings. The problem is, i can make the game playable (also 60fps) only 1 on 4/5 game starts. In the other cases my framerate is a mess.
Occasionally (but i think it is a random event, cause doesnt work all the times) if i delete cache or set the limiter for auto-delete, the game is fully playable. I tried to move it on the ssd but with no success, restarting pc and restarting the emulator... no results.

My specs are i5 3450 and rx 560 4gb, only decent rig, but i don't think this is the problem cause it can "perfectly" handle the game sometimes.

Thanks in advance, and sorry for eventually OTs.

You only have 4 threads, stay away from 60 FPS patch and keep playing at 30 FPS. Your CPU is already too weak as is.

Works perfect.
PPU & SPU - LLVM
Enable thread & Enable SPU & SPU cache
Safe 4

Vulkan
Async multi threaded
Write Color

And this is my controler. At the same time the arrow up down left right moves and turns.

Hello, I'm new here. I'd like to ask if anybody like me still got troubles with this game, I actually tried it the first time around the time it was available, 2017 or so, but during these past few years I never managed to make it work properly, neither this EU version nor the US version, and I remember trying a lot of versions of the RPCS3, and a lot of different settings... But it never worked well, I always had abysmally low FPS, and if ever rolled into breakable objects (like the ones near the second enemy of the Tutorial) the game would totally freeze for a long time, even alt+f4 wouldn't work, and often I was forced to use ctrl+alt+del to force close it. Even reloading the game/closing and re-booting the game never works, and sometimes it gets even worse when "compiling shaders" comes out, it's not as bad as with the breakable stuff, but almost as bad. Just for information, I dunno if it could help, I want to say that I even tried using the same settings of the PS2 emulator, which never gave me any troubles, but even with those settings, it never worked. Now I'm starting to think I just don't have a decent PC, so I'll post here my specs:

System: Windows 7 Professional 64-bit SP 1
Processor: Intel Core i5-6600 CPU @ 3.30 GHz
RAM: 16 GB
Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 3 GB

If anybody had my same problems, and somehow resolved it, or if somehow my PC isn't good enough, please lemme know. Thanks for the attention.

Deactivate "Disable Dynamic Exposure" in game patches. It worked for me.

Hi, can anyone please help me with random crashes I get during the first few minutes of the playing (during tutorial, cant get further)?

I have just downloaded and installed RPCS3 today. Ran the firmware update too.

i7-6700K
16GB RAM
Installed on an SSD
GTX 970 (latest drivers)

I used recommended settings, have also played around a bit with the different options, none seems to make a real difference. (SPU Decoder, Threds used, Renderer, different resolutions, etc.)
Frames seem to be stable.
Have tried with/without patch for 60fps. Doesn't seem to make a difference either way.
Tried clearing cache.
Tried both US and EU version.
I have also tried setting log: to fatal.

Not really sure what to look for in the logs. I get a lot of these messages, also whilst the game is still running and when it crashes too.
E {PPU[0x100000a] Thread (Core.Res.FileLoader) [0x02092090]} SYS: 'sys_fs_open' failed with 0x80010006 : CELL_ENOENT, “/dev_hdd1/04/7... Does this help?

Any ideas? Thank you.
