I am getting the same issue, all save slots when manually saving go back to the start, even though they display different planets.
I also have another problem after the first mission (just after ratchet and clank get knocked out) 80% of the time the game crashes to a white screen showing this in the console:
specs if it helps:
5930k
32GB DDR4
1080ti
I am also getting the issue with save slots and getting kicked back to the start of the game with the intro cutscene. Tested on current build (
v0.0.6-7825 Alpha [2019-02-28] ) as of this morning (March 04, 2019).
game is nearly playable! biggest issue is frequent freezing for seemingly no reason. audio still playing, game just becomes unresponsive, just wondering if anyone else encounters this frequently?
Work fine with some very small graphical glitches on Build 0.0.6-9e456e11 it just crashes randomly after some time of playing (sometimes its 5 minutes sometimes 15). Without these crashes game would be playable.

After installing new PC parts, I figured I'd try and tackle RPCS3 again. R&C was the obvious choice.
PC Components:
CPU: Ryzen 5 2600
GPU: GTX 1060 6GB
MoBo: B450 Tomahawk Max
RAM: 32GB (2 x 16GB)
Results:
Lots of crashes. It took me a solid two hours of playing and troubleshooting just to get the game functioning without crashing or having unplayable FPS.
Decent frames-per-second. It would be nice for 60fps to be achievable in this game (at least on my build). Though from what I experienced, it hovered at just below 30fps continually, give or take depending on when.
Crash Reports:
These are not the only crashes I experienced, but they are the last four crashes that occurred to me that I also documented. The progressively longer lengths between crashes was mostly a coincidence until the last run-through.
Intro cutscene to game results in a frozen screen/crash.
Lower SPU thread priority is enabled on a CPU with enough threads.
Multithreaded RSX is enabled.
--------
Crash 2:
Post-intro. Game worked for a few moments (though with the expected framerate issues). Upon pausing and going to one of the game settings, the game crashed.
Lower SPU thread priority is enabled on a CPU with enough threads.
Multithreaded RSX is enabled.
--------
Crash 3:
Able to progress for about two minutes post-intro. Game crashed after waiting on the pause screen for several minutes.
Lower SPU thread priority is enabled on a CPU with enough threads.
Multithreaded RSX is enabled.
--------
Crash 4:
BEST RESULTS
Able to progress A majority of the way through the first level. Max FPS could understandably never be reached. Game crashed after arriving at the final stretch to the first mission waypoint after making melee damage to an enemy. Prior melee attacks caused no problems.
Lower SPU thread priority is DISABLED.
Multithreaded RSX is DISABLED.
--------
Initial Conclusion:
Ratchet & Clank: Tools of Destruction ran better for my build when Multithreaded RSX and Lower SPU thread priority were disabled. I'm not sure as to what progress is being made to better integrate this game into RPCS3, but this is what I'm to help get it there a bit faster.
Welp, was able to finish the game with some creative looking in certain directions during the missions that were guaranteed to crash (can be resolved with forced CPU blit emu now), tried to travel to the Voron Asteroid Belt to get gold bolts, and it has a deadlock at the frame after the travel sequence completes. Possibly a corrupt save? Not sure.
Tried on several builds up to and including 0.0.9-9803. CPU blit/write color buffers/strict rendering had no effect.

i was able to play the game until Voron Asteroid then it crashed now i cant play the game anymore
i had 3 crash in total 2 where cache bugs but it stopt by it self and 1 where the voron Asteroid crash
tbh was happy that it was running smooth, cutscene had no lag, no dsync the only things are the voron crash and the electro effect keeps explodes

Exactly the same issue here. Everything else runs fine.
Hello everyone. As I understand many of you, the game starts and you manage to enjoy it even if with some problems.
I can open the game but after the presentation and the scene of the logo I get the following message "the game data has been corrupted. close the game and delete the game data".
what does it mean that game data is corrupt?
I don't think it's some emulation problem. the game is in folder format. I have tried clearing all caches, even those of other games that worked and continue to function properly. but this still doesn't work.
If I made a mistake in asked or writing something I apologize, I'm new, and I don't speak English well.

I was also having this issue, but it seems to have been fixed a while ago. Beat the game on a 6600k @4.3GHz and GTX1080 @4k, and it is really close to playable, averaged 60fps (generally 40-82fps, 82fps is the game's cap). The current issues are: Broken lighting (half lighting) on models, performance issues in a few areas (~30fps in some parts of planet Cobalia, ~20fps at the end of planet Jasindu, ~20fps in the Iris Super Computer, ~15fps near the end of Rakar Star Cluster, all still fullspeed though thanks to the game using a dynamic framerate), and random freezes every 2+ hours or so.
