The Sly Trilogy [BCES00982] - yurinator557 - 06-20-2021 - SYS: RPCS3 v0.0.16-12406-40493c56 Alpha | HEAD - SYS: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 8-Core Processor | 16 Threads | 15.94 GiB RAM | TSC: 3.593GHz | AVX+ | FMA3 - SYS: Operating system: Windows, Major: 10, Minor: 0, Build: 19042, Service Pack: none, Compatibility mode: 0 - RSX: Found vulkan-compatible GPU: 'Radeon RX 580 Series' running on driver 2.0.168 - SYS: Firmware version: 4.87 Status: Ingame Seems about the same as BCES00968 and BCUS98246, perhaps this is a UK exclusive serial. All 3 titles go ingame without modifying settings, although the FPS needs to be limited to 60 to prevent speedup. Sly 3 still has body parts missing occasionally and Sly 2 still exhibits the random black screens. These problems can be resolved by setting the PPU decoder to Interpreter (Fast), though performance takes a large hit. RE: The Sly Trilogy [BCES00982] - yurinator557 - 07-09-2021 Recently it has been found that enabling PPU LLVM Java Mode Handling for Sly 2 and Sly 3 fixes the problems they have without sacrificing performance. Personally I think it would be a candidate for Playable with this setting enabled but I have not beaten all 3 games with this setting enabled yet so I cannot confirm this. Enabling PPU LLVM Java Mode Handling fixes the black screen issue, and as this setting is no longer delegated to the Debug tab, Sly 2, and by extension the Trilogy/Collection discs can be moved to Playable. Game was 60fps the entire way through with no graphical or audio issues. I tested the minigames as well and they are also working fine. The log contains gameplay from Sly 2 episode 6 to the ending. |
