Hey everyone. If you do want to play this game with the current builds, here is a trick that I just used, and it works!

Download an older build of RPCS3 (I used rpcs3-v0.0.3-2017-08-15-6d14583f_win64) and set it up in another folder from your current one. Then just run Akibastrip, and do the data install. It will work in this build. Then go into dev_hdd0\game\ and copy the BLUS31425DATA folder to your current RPCS3 folder, into dev_hdd0\game\.

Then run the game with the current build (I just used rpcs3-v0.0.5-6934-88b6d516_win64) and you will bypass the data install bug and can now play the game!

Hope this helps someone.

rpcs3-v0.0.3-2017-08-15-6d14583f_win64

can be found here: https://obk.ee/rpcs3/archive/

The Beginning of the Game and the First Story Missions are run well. Later in the Game  there are heavy Framedrops. Mostly in the Main Streets.

Akiba's Trip Undead & Undressed tested on RPCS3 0.0.6-7932-d7ad991b Alpha

Not actually playable, since you can't get past attachment's message.

Compatibility should be changed.

i will upload a log

Hi Tudeski, sorry for digging out such an old thread but I am encountering the same issue with data install at the start of the game (Game boots successfully but crashes when trying to install giving an access memory error)

The URL given is down, is it possible to obtain the Data Install files from you? Thanks!!

(New to posting on RPCS3 forums, please forgive me if I don't format correctly or something like that.)

For whatever reason, in certain dialogues the game will freeze up with the error "RSX: nv406e::semaphore_acquire has timed out". I don't understand why this happens, and I'm pretty sure I installed it correctly. I was trying this on an older version of RPCS3 so I moved to the newest version (0.0.9-10258-256c74de Alpha) and it's still happening. I'd like to know if anyone else has experienced this or if it's just me. My log is attached.

rpcs3-v0.0.7-8623-432364cb_win64  is here   https://www24.zippyshare.com/v/2CSl83YC/file.html

keep old builds which are working.

in https://www24.zippyshare.com/v/2D7hXbM6/file.html      is the very old one rpcs3-v0.0.3-2017-08-15-6d14583f_win64, if the Installation is not working.
