Hello,

"The module vulkan-1.dll was incorrectly installed at
'C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\vulkan-1.dll''"

I've been getting this error for a while now on this emulator but haven't gotten around to reporting it until now (as it wasn't a priority) but I decided to try to tackle this issue.

I'm using rpcs3-v0.0.32-16626-87f5368d_win64, the latest download of the emulator as of now. I completely deleted the folder of the previous version for a fresh install.

I've already taken troubleshooting measures, first by installing the latest vulkan runtime, but the installed failed due to an error. So, as advised on this forum, I uninstalled my NVIDIA Driver with DDU, then I reinstalled the latest NVIDIA Driver (see Note), but I still get the same errors (both with RPCS3 and Vulkan Runetime). I've done the uninstall and reinstall multiple times to no avail and this is were we currently are.

Note: I reinstalled the NVIDIA Driver with NVCleanStall each time (installing it directly from NVIDIA causes issues with YouTube videos because of the NVIDIA's Telemetry.)

Hardware:
CPU: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700KF
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
Driver version: 32.0.15.5599 (6-1-2024)
System Vulkan loader version: 1.3.275.0

Updated Attachment.
Perhaps the issue is that RPCS3 is looking for vulkan-1.dll in "C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32" and not "C:\Windows\System32", being an issue with caps?
I just want to mention that I upgraded my NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 to a GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 4060Ti, but I'm still having the same issue.
A few updates:
I've updated RPCS3 to rpcs3-v0.0.32-16711-501e9260_win64.

My new system information is as follows:
OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Education
Version: 10.0.19045 (Windows 10 22H2)
CPU: 12th Gen Intel® Core™ i7-12700KF
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 4060 Ti
Driver version: 32.0.15.6070 (7-10-2024)
System Vulkan loader version: 1.3.280.0

Same issue as before. RPCS3 also doesn't seem to generate a log file.

I should note that other games and emulators not associated with RPCS3 which use Vulkan work without issue.

I've created an issue with the RPCS3 GitHub since I've not received a response here.

I've updated the log files in the first post.
You can use this Vulkan diagnostic tool to see what is broken and resolve the Vulkan-1.dll error.
https://github.com/13xforever/vkdiag/releases/latest
You don't need that Vulkan runtime file shown in the screenshot of your issue on github with your 4060 ti.
Windows OS isn't case sensitive so a caps issue isn't the problem here.

The log from the Vulkan diagnostic tool is already in the attachment.

Edit:
I update the logs after running DDU and reinstalling my NVIDIA Drivers. See attachment for updated logs.
The issue has been fixed as of Build 0.0.32-16785.
