with latest release (29\11\2018) game seems to bperfectly playable , everything is displayed correctly except the textures of your unit, which will be all black. in the hangar though the textures are displayed correctly

Also the game still randomly soft freezes when there's too much happening/effects on screen. It happens more frequently as you approaches mid/late game.

Not sure if it works that way on the actual console but I never had such issue in GB1 on RPCS3.
update: this is the error code when the game hangs. It's more likely to happen on the first time you play the stage.

The game's seems to run more stable with less flickering with OpenGL rendering and possibly muting the voices. For some reason muting speech volume let me play through late game stages in which the game would hang with default settings.
