Here the game goes perfectly until the moment I click to load the first mission there it gives an error in the emulator and hangs unanswered.
RPCS3 v0.0.6-7912-c472c1a9
PPU llvm, SPU llvm, Vulkan renderer
Was able to complete the game, so at least there are no issues that block progress. Still, it runs at 8-10 fps most of time on Core i7 8750H + GTX 1050Ti.
RPCS3 0.0.6-8534-dca29def
Game unpatched at version 1.01.

Vulkan renderer, Write Color Buffers ON (otherwise your view is completely blocked by a graphical glitch from the beginning)

Intro video renders flawless (see image 1).
Main menu works fine (see image 2).
Intro mission (walking around on the ship) has a few graphical glitches but is playable from start to finish (see images 3, 4)

As soon as the dropship lands and the real mission starts, the glitches become overwhelming to the point where you can't see anything (see images 5, 6, 7).
I can't progress any further because of that and I'm curious how the previous poster was "able to complete the game". A few screenshots would have been nice. Wink

FPS is low overall. Intro mission is about 13-16 average and drops to 8-11 when the dropship lands.
Experienced the same issue as TomBoss using v0.0.8-9328-b88fb43a, can confirm Write Color buffers fixes the graphical issue also experience roughly the same fps as well on my RTX 2070. This was all on the 1.01.

Updated to 1.29 and the game will not boot and will freeze RPCS3 requiring force close, have attached the log when attempting to boot this version.
This game work from start to end? Can i finish at current state?

EDIT:

Game crashed after few minutes.
0.0.9-9933-3566faab, game version 1.29
OpenGL, PPU & SPU LLVM, Write Color Buffers: ON

No glitching on intro mission, some glitches after dropship, looks like the smoke isn't being rendered properly. FPS is too low to be playable (mostly in teens, drops down to <10 FPS with a lot of action).
With Vulkan performance is better but I can't even complete the intro mission, game (in fact, the entire emulator) freezes as soon as you get to the door leading to the dropships.

Specs:
i7 9700K @ Stock
32 GB RAM
2080 Ti
After a recent PR most (if not all) of the graphics glitches are fixed. I've played every single mission of the campaign right up to the final boss (who I can't beat). The only issue for me is the low FPS but that's more to do with my specs I think than the emulator.

Certainly now I don't think there is anything that would stop someone with a powerful enough PC from finishing this game except the fact that a sixaxis and suitable drivers is needed though to pass some parts.

I got to Radec, with OPEN GL on the most recent version of RCPS3. The framerate is from 7-12 fps in most situations, unless I am staring at a wall or the floor up close, it might get to 20-30 fps. This is with an i7 @ 5ghz, rtx2080, 32 GB ram 3200MHZ, with the latest windows update as well as current video drivers.

I am curious what kind of system specs you have, I think my system is decent and only getting that performance says there is something not optimized on the emulation side. Not to mention the Vulkan API seems to crash the game when loading a save, or even on the first mission as the other poster stated. I had the same thing happen to me on the first misson, crashed in the same exact spot.
My specs aren’t great (i5 overclocked to 4.5ghz, GTX 970). One trick to squeeze out more performance would be to set SPURS threads and SPU threads to 2 - that’s the only way I can run the game at any knd of playable frame rate at all. Even then it gets painful at times with FPS between 10-15. I have no issues using Vulkan though which helps too I guess.

EDIT: also turning off SPU loop detection gives a decent boost, as does switching SPU block size to Mega.
While I'm playing the US version, but it might be helpful to this version as well.
I found disabling anti-aliasing can give a huge performance boost. With anti-aliasing set to "auto", it would max out my 1080Ti and still only has 10~14fps; with it disabled, even at 4K, it only uses 40~50% GPU, and has double the fps, getting close to 30fps in smaller, less busy scenes.
