For anyone wondering... I'm trying to finish the game in  RPCS3.

^^ Go for it Wink
Water seems to slow down the game a ton for me, Any area without water is around 60 fps, which sucks because all the starting areas and a lot of the game in general has a lot of water
I get crashes as well. If the crashes didn't occur it would be playable I'd say. On my ryzen 1700 I don't go below 30 often.
This setting gave me 10-12 fps boost, from 24-27fps in heavy places to 36-39fps

for example when you exit Yuri's room n go down.

8700K 5.1Ghz
Titan X Pascal
DDR4 3600
Win 10 64bit

Anyone know when you can play this game without strict rendering mode?
When? No one knows that. Why? I don't know that but I'd like to know.
It'll be ready to be played without strict rendering mode when it's ready. They still have quite a few rendering bugs that need to be fixed.

Irrelevant to RPCS3, but just for those who haven't heard, Bandai Namco has announced a Definitive Edition of Tales of Vesperia coming to XB1, PS4, PC, and Switch this year. It will have the PS3 content, and JP/EN voiceovers. No word if they brought back the original EN cast yet. https://twitter.com/BandaiNamcoEU/status...8617821184
