The game was working but got broke in the latest releases. It completely hangs the emulator after compiling shaders and reaching title screen.

Right now I'm playing it on version 0.0.18-12817 available on github, works flawlessly.

Have you tried again recently?
I just played a game and it worked nearly perfectly

CPU:  i7 8700
GPU:  RX 6800
RAM:  32GB
CPU i5-12500H
GPU RTX3060 105W
RAM 16GB

Game runs smoothly but it freezes dead when I get a goalie interfernce. Screens attached.

U.: Atomic RSX FIFO seems to fix the issue but performance slightly decreases after that.
How to fix rare issue with wrong textures on faces gloves or pads?
Just a quick message here to say that I attempted everything to get upscaling to work in this game, but it's still stuck at 720P, which is abysmal. I tried to create a patch to disable MLAA as well, but my knowledge is too limited and I was unsuccessful. If anyone has any idea of how to circumvent this, I would gladly like to hear about it. Also, just as an FYI, the upscaling works perfectly on Xenia (but the games has other issue), so this points to something related to the SPU.

Since this version is the last one on PS3, it would really cool to get this working at 4K!

EDIT: Ok I found that this game DOES UPSCALE TO 4K! The problem is that it is not reliable and breaks sometimes. But one way to verify this is to start a quick match, and let the complete introduction play. After this, the game is definitely upscaled! This will work for a couple minutes, then go back to being downscaled! It seems to have to do with shaders, but I'm not sure, but now we know it doesn't seem to be MLAA?!
