Block size Safe is better at this point of time, i didnt have any visible slowdows with 5820k at 4,5Ghz
Could it be that the game uses MLAA? And by disabling MLAA the scaling might work? I tried making a patch but it doesn't work:

Already have wakeup-delay at 200 and tried many different settings (SPU Threads, Block size, RSX Multithreading). Might need to upgrade to tge Ryzen 7 3700x soon, hopefully this fixes it. Funny thing is, all 6 "logical" threads are at 100%.

Also, I have the game at 1280x780@300%. NHL 2k8 and 2k10 look very sharp, however, this one is still fuzzy and blurry:

Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks everybody for the work! Great to finally get modern hockey on PC.

The rendering in many EA sports games dont seem to play well with RPCS3 resolution scale.  There is a github issue for this, ill see if I can find it.

The "slowdown" you report is still 100% an issue and no settings Ive tried fix this.  It seems to be an issue with the emulation simply being too taxing to keep up with the game logic in certain situations which cause a desync between the game logic and what ui components like the countdown clock report.

For reference, I'm running a 3700x and a 2070 SUPER.

I got a 3700X now aswell and don't have any slow downs. Played 4 games so far in my season without a problem.

I had one crash in Be a Pro in the 2nd period though.
How do i play this game with 2 controllers (1 controller for each team and not in the same team) is this a bug? I can't chose team with 1 controller

Any progress on this?  This would be incredible if we could properly use the resolution scaler on this game! Smile

FWIW I resolved my frame time issues by simply changing the frame timer from detail level high to medium.  Apparently that effects game performance??

Unfortunately, no. Can you tell me where I can find the "frame timer" setting?
Hello.

NHL Legacy (And NHL 15) seems to be freezing and hanging every time I try to play it. It used to work perfectly for me for a long time and now I can't get through a single game without it freezing, as of a few months ago. I assumed that it was an update that may have broke it, but as no one else has that issue, it's clearly only a problem with me. So, I now have to assume that there may be a setting somewhere needs to be changed. Are there any ideal settings that may keep it from crashing? I deleted my config file so I could get all the default settings back and it's still freezing every single time I play it.

I wouldn't be so confused if it never worked before, but I have 10 hours of gameplay logged and maybe I changed something and just don't remember, but I can't figure out what to do to get it back. Can anyone help me out?

This is at the end of the log. I tried attaching it but the forum wouldn't let me.

I have the same setup (except my GTX1060 is the 3gb version). It's mostly playable with some stuttering from time to time, but you must overclock the CPU to at least 3.6 ghz.

ZXY, did you find a fix? I am having the same issue, game loads fine and menus are fine but as soon as the players hit the ice the sound crackles and they are all slow-mo, although the FPS stays between 20-40 it's jut unplayable Sad  And it's the only game i want to play Smile
