Hey, I'm new here and I seem to be having some issues with this game, it seems to boot and install fine but after the installation screen everything goes black and the emulator freezes when i try to quit the game causing the whole thing to crash. when i load the game after everything just freezes on a black screen. I'm using build RPCS3 0.0.6-8478-a902874b Alpha.

Here's the error log...

If anyone can help me i would really appreciate it!
at devi's peak where you just get off the tram, there's a binocular you can pay to see the scenery. When I put money in to see the scenery, it's nothing, just black. Is there any way to fix this?

I had the same issue. I know these in-game perspective-distortions are hard to emulate... There was a crane operator minigame in Time Splitters 3 somewhere right at the beginning that was a  somewhat similar case, and as far as I know, pcsx2 developers still didn't solved it. I hope someone sees to it in the near future, because so far , after about one-two hours of gameplay, that was the only issue I encountered.

i have finished the game, but i don't remember that thing with the binoculars..but game is playable without crashes of any sort
Audio doesn't seem to be working on newer builds, changing Vulkan to OpenGL or XAudio2 to OpenAL doesn't fix the issue, the game starts entirely mute.

Are you still having this problem?

I believe I’ve solved this by changing TSX to disabled & turning Framelimit to Off.
No audio cutout & visuals are fine.
Hey guys!
does anyone played the game's difficulty into hard mode and to discover its a normal mode game?
and also, the collectibles on the game didn't register the time you re-launch the game

its been my concern lately and is there anyway to fix this?
If anyone is wondering about the title screen after you press start, the reflected water will be corrupted if you don't have strict rendering mode enabled.
Game is running buttery-smooth with no visual issues at 60 FPS on my i5 and GTX 1060 3gb,
But 3 hours into the game, when you finally enter Silent Hill free roam area - I started getting these occasional split-second fade to blacks, and Murphy himself seems to go semi-transparent in those moments. Usually when moving inbetween houses and narrow passages.
All my settings are Vulcan default with Write Color Buffers and 200% upscale.
