So I am having an issue with with RPSC3 on Windows 11 21H2 freezing when I try to install firmware, or even launch games. I tried using an older version (0.0.6-8414) and was able to get up to version 0.0.7-8717 working. Then when I starting using any version after 0.0.7-8725 it will freeze after saying the firmware was installed and usually opens a new window building the PPU cache. Every time installing the firmware, the final log commit is
W 0:00:10.341386 PPU: PPU Cache location not initialized.
I am able to install games but when clicking play, the program again freezes.
I am using Windows 11, 21H2, Threadripper 3960x, RTX 3090, 64GB Ram. I have tried running it from multiple disks, nvme and sata.
I have reinstalled Visual C++ Redistributable, and reinstalled all drivers.
I am able to successfully run the Linux AppImage via WSL with OpenSuSE Tumbleweed. I would settle for this if I could figure out how to handle my controller/fight sticks lol.
