I'm having performance issues on Gran Turismo 5, yet I've seen people with lower end specs than I, play it at 60 FPS perfectly fine. Not only that but I have to have my computer off for 30s+ after using the Emulator cause it bogs down my computer. Is this normal?

Computer Specifications:

CPU: I7-9750H (9th Generation Intel - Although I'm sure that's obvious)
GPU: RTX 2060
Ram: 16GB DDR4 - 2666MHZ x1
SDD: 512GB SSD NVME by Western Digital
OS: Windows 10 (obviously)

I saw someone with a 1660, and an I5 9th Gen run way better than I.

Is there perhaps some optimization I must do in order to have it play smoothly? I could care less about graphics I just want full on-performance.

No, it won't run that well, specially with a laptop CPU. Also the game crashes constantly

Either way, missing log file to know for sure if you can improve performance a bit, but don't expect 60 FPS

Wasn't expecting 60 FPS, Was expecting at least 30. But this stupid pathetic emulator doesn't let you reduce the graphics quality, I could care less about graphics quality, real gamers care about performance.

I guess GT5 is pointless for me to keep any longer, even though I have HIGH-end specs.

Karma always wins, good riddance and good to know that it didn't work for you with that attitude.

Please refrain from posting more cringe, it's ok to not understand a thing about emulation, PS3 architecture, graphical settings on console games, and even fail to identify what the bottleneck actually is, but don't need to top it up by calling yourself a "real gamer" or calling a mobile 45W hexa-core with RTX 2060 "HIGH-end specs".
