Skylanders Spyro's Adventure game freezing

When attempting to play the game it will freeze ether before opening can end as displayed in video linked bellow or if skipped will allow some movement with skylander before freezing. have attempted using both skylanders released in series and backwards compatible skylanders. had attempted efault settings but did not run beyond main menu. using custom settings got to bellow. setting changed from default were SPU Block Size from safe to Mega and VBlank Frequency from 60Hz to 120 Hz
