Yes, over a year has passed and after over a thousand commits the game still works exactly the same...

of course not, and you could check that for yourself by downloading a build from that date, a build from now and testing the game.

Pardon??? But I am not looking for opening a meaningless debate.

I am seriously asking for reasoning for not updating this game (despite your argument) just to learn to live without this game on this great emulator of yours???

But thanks for answering me. I wish it was more useful.

Thanks again.

You're being a jerk. What do you think an "update" to the game would consist of? How do you think it will be made to run smoother?

It's open-source too you can have a go at fixing the game if you like and see if you can improve the engine.

It makes no sense for a game to run exactly the same on a build from a year ago and a build from today after thousands of commits have been made, I really don't understand what you're going on about.

Again, have you even tested the game for yourself during that time span?

Hello friends,

ButBlamo. I am not being a jerk, I just misunderstood a bit what ANI meant.

ANI. I am sorry for misunderstanding your point, so I am answering now.

Yes, I have tested this game on rpcs3 both back in 2019 and now many times on different builds.
There has been very little improvement so I can't really point on this game as something that has been improved reasonably after a year even I and many other players have requested building teams' attention on this game's reasonable improvement.

What I am trying to say many other games can be played thoroughly. This game is good but not good enough.

ANI & ButBlamo. I don't mean to be a jerk or rude person. I am sorry if I acted like one. I just missed the point. I hope I have answered your question now ANI??? Please don't hesitate to ask if I missed something??? Thanks.

ButBlamo you said: "How do you think it will be made to run smoother? It's open-source too you can have a go at fixing the game if you like and see if you can improve the engine."
You got it! The game is freezing with today's rpcs3 build and the sound is on and off too. I agree with you that it is a free source.
But I don't know how to program a game or game engine or perhaps both???
Maybe you can please be kind enough to tell me where I can learn it???

Thanks for taking the time to answer my request. Further thanks to those who answer me further and help and so on.
Have a pleasant evening!
Best regards,
Themevictory

PS!!! Are we friends now??? Smile

Hi,
I have detected another issue which is described detailed below:

Greetings friend,

How are you doing today Sir???

I have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 graphic card as a secondary graphic card on my laptop.

Please notice that I need to use this card to Run a Playstation 3 game named Metal Gear Solid 4 Guns Of The Patriots on a PC PS3 Emulator named RPCS3, which is fully possible by today's date and time.

Also, there are a few options that are greyed out in RPCS3. I contacted Nvidia team but they said this problem is RPCS3 emulator related and that I should ask RPCS3 engineers for help.

Please view this video first:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mbRV44HxgBU

These are the options greyed out:

1- Under CPU TSX Instructions.

2- Under Advanced, look at Driver wake-up delay is greyed-out at 1us.

3- VBlank Frequency is greyed out at 60Hz.

4- Clocks Scale is greyed out at 100%.

Options mentioned above are all options that are grey but need to be adjustable???

Please help me letting know how to fix them or make them adjustable????

Thank you,

TSX is grayed out if your CPU doesn't support it

Driver wake-up delay, VBlank Frequency and Clocks Scale are only modifiable if you create a game custom configuration, as explained on the tooltip
