Hello there. I would very much appreciate help for my freezing (game freezes then just dies behind the music).

I recently backed up my data on a HDD and transferred it back to my computer after I had reformatted, thought I should mention that in case its relevant. After perfect emulation and gameplay for... about 50-60 hours? Now when I try to play it, it will not take long before the game to freeze. After some digging there were people with seemingly similar issues to which I followed the instructions to fixes that did work for them, from removing what could be corrupted save files to changing multiple settings in the emulator, to "LLVM Accurate DFMA: true" to "false". I still freeze all the same (music's on, game's dead in the water).

The build I was running was, at time of writing, the most recent one: RPCS3 v0.0.11-10661-182b20c3 Alpha.

My CPU | GPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X | GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER

My settings for the emulator did not change since installation, since I found the performance to be, essentially, perfect at that point.

Attached is the log.

Thanks!

Checking my original post, there's not a log I can see - but I could have sworn that I attached the log with it. If, in case that there isn't a log attached, I've a Google Drive link to display the log: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12P16wK6...sp=sharing

Thank you!

That's odd. It works for my incog mode. I'll put it on Mega instead: https://mega.nz/file/YrwDRSyB

Please let me know if that doesn't work either. I'll find something else. Thanks!

Unsupported base resolution, use 720p as it says on the UI
Frame limiter when the game already limits itself makes no sense, turn it off
Anisotropic Filtering at 8x makes no sense, use 16 or Auto
Disable Thread Scheduler

You've installed DLC without the respective licenses, that can cause crashing, so dump the licenses or get rid of the DLC you don't have the licenses for

Firstly, thanks for the response and the help! Reading the wiki, it seems that a PS3 is required for the license files, which is extremely unfortunate - my PS3 I had with my sister second hand broke years ago, so on that, I duplicated my RPCS3 install and ran both at the recommended fixes: 720p, 16x AA and disabling both frame limiter and thread sheduler. One simply had the DLC installed and the other, did not. However, at different times in the last say... 3 hours I think(?) both of them did indeed freeze. Both RPCS3s were running of the same version of 0.0.11-10661-182b20c3 Alpha. I, unfortunately, lacked enough presence of mind to not delete the duplicate RPCS3 folder - I wish I had kept the log for that. I think the error was unmapped memory, or something of the sort?

With the changes to the settings though, both RPCS3s froze running Persona 5 at different times, regardless of the DLC. Should I be rolling back my RPCS3 client as a potential fix?

Once again, attached is the log (with DLC - it was the second/last to freeze and stop working and I did delete the other) with this post.

Thank you, and again I would appreciate any and all other input for this matter!
