Hi, so I see that this emulators works surprisingly well on Linux and even FreeBSD. I have tested it myself and things run at a playable framerate in freebsd, however.. I am confused.

How is one meant to use DS3 or DS4 controllers in either linux or freebsd? 

I know some games require six axis to be passable so this seems like an obstacle for me, does anyone know anything?

What do you mean how? Just go to pad settings and choose the appropriate controller handler, nothing else is required.
    Desktop: Ryzen 7 5800X,   Radeon RX 6800 XT, 2x8G DDR4 3600MHz, Manjaro Linux
     Laptop: Ryzen 9 5900HX,  Radeon RX 6700M,   2x8G DDR4 3200MHz, Manjaro Linux

Sony PS4 Controller (Bluetooth, USB cable) not working for me in RPCS3.
