Hello all!

So I recently installed RPCS3 to play Demon's Souls and when I ran the game for the first time, it worked fine through the tutorial and then when I got to a new area, the screen went black (except the UI Overlay) and it said "Compiling Shaders..." Now it does this every time I launch the game and the screen is always black now (even during the tutorial). My log files are attached. I tried clearing the shader cache, restarting the game, computer, and RPCS3. I tried openGL and Vulkan. Any advice would be very much appreciated!

I uploaded the log file as indicated in the guidelines, but for some reason it didn't get posted. Anyways, I was able to find a fix on youtube. For anyone experiencing the same problem or similar problems, check out this video:

I
just followed the settings that he used and moved the game folder to where he did and now it works great!

It's an awful idea to follow videos on YouTube specially when they're almost 3 years old

You should read the tooltips and follow the wiki pages for the games

Because you enabled Write Color Buffers, which is listed on the wiki page for that game, but besides setting Render to Vulkan changing anything other than that is wrong

I do, even though I can guess what's wrong for popular games you may have wrong settings still enabled or some kind of setup issue like outdated drivers or Ryzen CPU + Windows 1809 or older, that cause performance issues, to name a few that I can't help you with because you didn't upload the log
