What the reason for 6 FPS in "that Atlus game" with ~60% CPU & ~34% GPU utilization?

Hello. I use i7 880 and Radeon HD 5750. I have around 6 FPS in "that Atlus game". I don't understand why, since CPU loaded at 60% and GPU at 34%. I would understand if something had 100% load - it means it too busy and can't give higher FPS. But what's the reason in my situation?

Isn't the 880 a 1st gen CPU? I thought I was the only person on the planet who still had one of those. That hardware is old and I don't think RPCS3 fully supports it.

I can hardly run the newer versions on my 1st gen but I did get good results on versions prior to April using LLVM. I have a GTX1050TI  and my fps on "that atlus game" is 17-22 fps. I wouldn't expect more from an old CPU. And remember to use versions released prior to April.

I will be upgrading next year.

That's really 1st gen CPU, but it still has 4 cores running at 3.3 GHz (turbo boost) and 8 logical cores. It should be good enough to have more than 6 FPS.
P.S. I bough this CPU month ago. That was my upgrade from i5 660. And what's weird, I had 6 FPS with i5 660 too... But in other games FPS boost is near to double.
P.S.2. I will try older versions. Thanks.
P.S.3. Huh, it's really helped... a little. With #5774 I have 10 FPS in casino at 90% CPU load and 43% GPU.

A 1st gen CPU isn't capable of running most complex functions that modern games require unfortunately, irrespectively of it's power. If my motherboard allowed I would upgrade but I will have to get a new PC.

it's odd though because my 1st gen is slightly less powerful than yours and with the March-Early April builds, I could get 17-25 fps. In the casino it was like 19fps.

That's really odd. Please, tell me what version exactly you use to have 19 FPS in casino, so I test it instead of random ones prior April.

I've been playing "that game" (not sure if we need to keep calling it like this since the forum is full of threads fully naming it) for months and all versions I've used prior to April gave the same results. It might be your graphics card that makes the difference. I am not familiar with yours so I have no clue if it's better or worse than mine (a GTX1050TI).

Leave everything at default settings and change only SPU to LLVM (still called "experimental" in versions prior to April) and set graphics renderer to Vulkan.

My GPU is 9 years old. It's a lot worse than yours, it doesn't even support Vulkan. The problem that it never gets loaded for 100%. Even 50% load is rare at emulation. So... it should not be bottleneck. Same as CPU never reach 100% load. Something weird happens. I would understand if my GPU were loaded for 100% - that means it can't give more FPS, but it's not, same as CPU.

And... that's just a mystery.
P.S. I do not name this game to not cause devs any problems. So if Atlus decide to find more copyright-protected junk on emu's site it will find nothing.

If it's 9 years old, it runs pixel shader 4.0 and RPCS3 needs pixel shader 5.0. That would explain the low fps.
