Just tested the God Of War Collection (BCUS98229) which works fine expect both games are ruining way too fast. I am getting 130+ fps which is nice but unfortunately it affects the entire game including animations and movement speed. It should be locked at 60fps but for some reason RPCS3 ignores that.

I also tested the God of War Collection: Volume II (BCES01277) and both games run at 60fps as intended.

Specs:
Intel Core i7-6700 CPU @ 3.40GHz
GeForce GTX 1070 8GB
Windows 10 (64 bit)
Nvidia Driver: 3.15.0.164
RPCS3: v0.0.5-7431 Alpha [2018-10-08]

Then just put the framelimiter to 60fps, it's what it's there for.

Well, it's working now but it's a bit confusing since GOW Collection Vol.2 doesn't need this fix. Also the status is "playable" but nowhere a mention having to manually apply a fps limiter.

I have another problem though, both GOW collections support 1080p, which again, works with the second collection but with the first one the aspect ratio gets screwed up when changing the resolution to 1920x1080: https://i.imgur.com/gUL3ORE.png

What is the recommended way to upscale the resolution anyway? Change the internal resolution or use the scale slider?

Keep "resolution" at 1280x720 for 99% of games (this is why it says recommended) and use resolution scaling instead. 1920x1080 can impact performance and even though games say they support it it doesn't mean they will necessarily render at the full 1920x1080 and if you're using resolution scaling it's useless because we scale from 1280x720 anyway.
