RPCS3 v0.0.5-6660-3d551482a Alpha | HEAD
Intel® Core™ i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz | 12 Threads | 15.96 GiB RAM | AVX+ | TSX

This goes ingame no problem. I had to limit the frames (auto FPS limiter) because it was going like 100-200 fps at first. Other than that it works extremely well in both vulkan and Open GL. IMO it's playable but I'll leave that up to someone with more authority to determine. At the very least, it's ingame. The motion controls worked well using a ps4 controller plugged in via usb cable. I did not change the default resolution or rendering. Left everything on default with the exception of the frame limiter. This game was picked up at gamestop and dumped using multiman. Pics and video and log will all be attached.

Log file is 40+ mins of gameplay with testing in both opengl and vulkan and is too large for uploading here so GoogleDrive link instead. Cheers!

Graphical Glitches in shadows and lights.

all Lighting related. nor interpreter, nor opengl, nor srm fixes it.

very distracting.

I'm not entirely sure this belongs in the playable section yet, except perhaps on a technicality - like you can finish it if you save-scum. I'm only in the 2nd chapter(out of at least 6 that I'm aware of) and I've already had at least 10 sudden crashes. Most of them happened when transitioning screens, but one of them happened when I tried to make a savestate . . . which corrupted the savestate, but thankfully not my regular saves so I didn't lose too much progress from this. Other than the crashes, the game seems to run fine for the most part. I haven't had any graphical glitches with the exception of Ellie's skirt and ponytail going nuts when I had the framerate patch applied. Deselecting the patch fixed that. (The only other game I've ripped was Odin Sphere Leifthrasir, and that game has run beautifully with no crashes whatsoever over 20+ hours of gameplay, so I don't know what's up with Folklore.)

It also seems to have iffy motion control detection, but I'm not sure if it's the game or the emulator. I'm using a DS4 controller, and when fighting normal enemies it detects the flip upwards just fine and allows me to absorb multiple critters at once. But once I get to a larger mini-boss style enemy, it's like it can't detect my motions at all. I was fighting the first mini-boss in the war zone and the upward flicks weren't working, so I checked the R3 menu and it told me to move left and right instead, but no matter what direction I flicked the controller the bar didn't fill up even a tiny bit. I even tried to keep it in time with the pulsing sound, but it still didn't do anything.

The patch to automate the motion controls works, but it only allows to you absorb a single enemy at a time, so I'd really rather use the DS4's motion controls properly if at all possible. If they didn't work at all, I'd just chalk it up to my PC not working well with my DS4 controller, but they do work for most enemies so I'm really confused.
