Loads. Black Screen. Installation fails. Says complete but then there's missing files. Install on ps3 and transfer data does not work either.

This should go ingame if you move/delete/rename the following files:
PS3_GAME\USRDIR\DATA\UI\MOVIESFOX_IDENT.USM
PS3_GAME\USRDIR\DATA\UI\MOVIESCA_IDENT.USM

Moving to general discussion until a new test is made.

game disc bought from gamestop. dumped using multiman. I could try ingame work around by installing on ps3 first? and test again?

oops that is with ingame work around. as in, the files were first installed on ps3 then copied over. and I did that AFTER the first test. this is different version of emulator and I copied the files over last night. however I was asked to retest. so i did so. emulator should not have to install anything. I even went as far as to create two folders in the 'game' folder. BLUS30832GAMEDATA and BLUS30832 , because I thought maybe it was confused where the data was. still no go. I really did try everything I could think of with this after the initial test. sorry it's been a long day / night.

and idk why we'd be in general discussion. is there another disc version that works with this? i have the pkg file to test too... i guess I could do that.

It was moved to general discussion because it doesn't match the compatibility status of the other disc ID for this game due to the test not doing the above changes to files.

"I could try ingame work around by installing on ps3 first? and test again?"
You don't need to try it on a real ps3.

I'm really confused about what you mean by the data installation, anyway i have the other ID and all I did was move the files i mentioned above and it worked.

as in install data on ps3, then move files to rpcs3.

Games and game folders respectively. not relying on rpcs3 to install data. which seems to be an issue from time to time.

I just tried turning off my overclock and same results. I will try redumping the game and deleting the game data folder.
