PS3 Controller No Longer Recognised

I have a nice 4K Gaming PC and my white, DS3 controller has always worked with RPCS3 without any additional help like dshidmini. But, something happened recently and it's no longer recognised by the emulator. It is recognised by my PC as a PS3 controller but that's about it. It doesn't work with Mame or anything else. The first problem I noticed was my PC wouldn't boot properly. When I unplugged the PS3 controller, the desktop quickly appeared. I think there may have been an update to Windows that has caused this. Any help is much appreciated. I've tried using the official drivers and the programs like dshidmini (no controller recognised).

I'm running Windows 10 Home.
