Seeing that porting P5 from a Blu-ray drive failed miserably, the only other option is to get a PS3 with custom firmware on it. However, quickstart doesn't specify a single custom firmware. Anyone know what I should use?

Any tutorial as to how to transfer the games? And do I install Toolbox too?

Aw dammit. You're gonna need an E3 Flasher for an additional $20 to even use a custom PS3. Hopefully my friend's OG PS3 isn't updated past 3.55.
