The log file looks empty.  Can you try rerunning the game to upload a good log?

Ingame, but with some random crashes. Last build (2018-01-01) seems to have corrected a graphical issue of fire on stage 2, but there are still random crashes.

Using: rpcs3-v0.0.4-2018-01-02-83b541ea_win64
Setting are as attached, other settings not printed are as default.
Log Attached.

Using the rpcs3-v0.0.5-6649-7303f04b_win64 version, the random crashes seems to have stopped. Problem now is the flame/smoke rendering, producing in screen marks that persists even if level is restarted...

Version v0.0.5-7247 runs fine, crashes continue, but are much less frequent. Its funny cause whenever it crashes, I delete shader, LLVM and SPU cache and if i don't uninstall the game, it seems to get trough the area where it last crashed and then it will crash only on a further level. Uninstalling the game seems to reset this "progressive" performance. Doing this I managed to reach level 4.
Another thing, booting the game throug FILE -> Boot SELF/ELF --> EBOOT.BIN also seems to lower crashing frequency.

This is a GREAT exclusive PS3 game, and could get a little more attention from devs. Until now they haven't even mentioned it...

Log is anexed.

- Using LLVM, ASMJIT, Pref SPU Thread = Auto, Load autom and manual selection, Enable thread sechedule, SPU loop and SPU Cache.
- Vulkan, Resoltuin default, Write Color Buffers (This allows the flames to render correctly), Strict Render.

Specs are GTX1070 - I7 4770K, 16Gb Ram.

Game hangs at random with the following in the log:

E {RSX [0x0282160]} RSX: [vulkan] vk::wait_for_event has timed out!
F {RSX [0x0283708]} RSX: class std::runtime_error thrown: Assertion Failed! Vulkan API call failed with unrecoverable error: Device lost (Driver crashed with unspecified error or stopped responding and recovered) (VK_ERROR_DEVICE_LOST)
(in file C:\projects\rpcs3\rpcs3\Emu\RSX\VK\VKHelpers.h:1178)

Happens regardless of high precision Z toggled or not (read some kd-11 posts indicating that this may need to be turned on to combat Turing stability issues).  Game runs well otherwise. Checked Windows Event Log for Nvidia driver crashes, none reported.

Win10 1903, Ryzen 3700x, 2060 Super, 16gb, Nvidia Driver 441.20
