Sure
Settings are at their default except for network status being set to connected.
Tests 1-4 are with the ppu thread count at its default 2.
Test 5 is with ppu thread count at 3. I left it running for about an hour and the game didn't freeze, at that point i just closed the emulator.

I can confirm that set the ppu thread count at 3 the game no longer freezes ! my wife has playing it for hours !
With PPU thread at the default (2) it freezes every 2-3 minutes

I can confirm it does indeed work no idea why the game was virtually unplayable would crash usually by the time I got to the first gate of the first mission but I set the ppu thread to 4 not only was I not freezing but I was able to play through the entire first area the only issue I found after doing this is cutscenes lag a bit but in my eyes that's fine at least I can play it now

Status: Playable
Notes:
Fps seemed to hover around 25-30 Fps which is great because the game is meant is to run at 30Fps
Requires "Network Status" to be set to "Connected" or else it will constantly try to connect to Demonware servers and fail and freeze every couple of seconds
Requires Debug tab to be enabled and have "PPU Thread Count" set to 4 to prevent crashing

Played for a good hour and haven't got any crashes

Hi, I can't find the Debug Tab and the PPU Thread Count options, are they at advanced? I only see "Debug Console Mode" and "Maximum number of SPURS Threads" there... Is that the same?

I can confirm the same as well. Setting PPU count to at least 3 or 4 seems stop the constant freezing, making the game at least somewhat playable (even if still incredibly unoptimized with some performance issues).

Okay so after some further testing I've found that it was actually what a previous user had said which was having the Network Status set to Connected, THAT is what stops the constant freezing, not the PPU thread count. However, the PPU threads DO seem to still matter in terms of actual performance from what I've experienced, having it be at least higher than 2 gave me an FPS boost around the main hub area (went from like 15 FPS to 25-30). I'm not exactly sure if it was also preventing crashes or not, as I got a crash when swapping skylanders one time. I also had a massive amount of loot spawn from a crystal in the main hub area (too many objects appeared on screen at once) and the game froze completely. The only times where the FPS tends to dip are when there's a wide panning shot of most of the level (usually at the very start) or when there's too much stuff on screen. For example, in one of the early stages there's a giant tornado in center of the whole entire area which the camera gets focused on, and the game ran at like 11 FPS at one point because of it. But for most part at least, the game seems to run fine. Hopefully it'll get some better optimizations in a future build.

Sorry but we can't consider the game to be playable if debug tab settings are needed
I don't see how the number of PPU threads can affect it either

Had to create an account just to thank you for this advice! 😅 Been fiddling with the settings for around 2 hours trying to get it working, but I never thought the network status would matter.

Update: I have now been able to successfully complete the entire game with varied performance depending on the level.
