RPCS3 v0.0.3-5-0302e8d Alpha

Tales of Graces f - Playable
Seems to play just fine, only graphics are a bit bugged.
AVG Fps on my fx 8350: 22fps
Settings: PPU: Recompiler (LLVM)
SPU: Recompiler (ASMJIT)
Automatically load required libraries (have not tested anything else)
Lower SPU Thread Priority
Renderer: Vulkan
i used strict rendering in the beginning, but it seems missing in the version here. im NOT sure if it needs to be enabled with this version as i have multiple rpcs3 versions in my folder.
Log file is small, just made a new one after playing another game.

I'm having texture problems with here as well. It may be connected to my graphics card but I might as well bring it up.

I'm using OpenGL

I did try Vulkan though. Graphics issues are gone, the problem is that the game would freeze at random quite frequently. Attached is the log file.

If you encounter a black screen after closing & reloading the game then delete your shader cashes by right clicking the games thumbnail.

PPU LLVM is more faster, i prefer put LLVM activated ,uncheck Vsync  and hold framerate to 30fps(but i prefer 40 despite rpcs3 don't have this option)

That sucks. For those types of crashes, i think you can change to precise PPU to clear.  generally, i would consider something like that unplayable but, if its just for 1 fight, you / people can live with it. i mean, you already cleared it fairly once right, just turn PPU precise, set the game to easy mode and trounce the fight.

anyway, im putting together a video on what graces F should fix before being moved to playable.

Video showing whats keeping this from going playable.

Note 1: because tales build isn't supported by rpcs3 team, even if this got fixed and pushed to a tales build, these forums might still say not playable sense its a custom fork, but for anyone who doesn't care about official builds, it would then be fully playable

Note 2: downloadable test save file (USA Version) https://www.mediafire.com/file/hann77bc3...0.zip/file

Reporting in, after the latest patch (1-2 weeks ago?) xillia is now fixed and runs great, but graces F has even worse weird battle fps. now you can't battle at the intended speed whatsoever. its either 30fps at half speed, or 60 fps at double speed. somehow, neither of them are normal game speed (very strange).

but at least X1&2 can run perfect now.

RPCS3 v0.0.10-10313-c1bd154b Alpha | HEAD | Firmware version: 4.85
Intel® Core™ i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz | 8 Threads | 15.94 GiB RAM | TSC: 3.598GHz | AVX+ | FMA3
Operating system: Windows, Major: 10, Minor: 0, Build: 18362, Service Pack: none, Compatibility mode: 0
GPU: 'GeForce GTX 970' running on driver 442.74.0.0

Playable. Played the game for about 2 hours. Didn't run into any issues at all. The game runs at an unlocked FPS, so users need to set Framelimit to 60 (or enable VSync on a 60Hz monitor) and set Vblank rate to 30Hz. This will cap the FPS in the free-roam sections to 30FPS while providing 60FPS in battle sequences and menus, similar to what we see on an actual PlayStation 3.
