In preparation for upcoming changes to the compatibility database, this thread is being moved to Intro. Due to other threads for the same media (Disc or PSN) already being in that category.

If you find a specific game ID that performs differently than others for the same game+edition of the same format (PSN or Disc) even when tested with the same build and settings then please discuss it in the relevant thread(s) and PM a moderator so we can look into it.

Intel® Core™ i7-8700K CPU @ 4.70GHz | 12 Threads | 31.96 GiB RAM | TSC: Bad | AVX+ | TSX

Settings:
PPU - Interpreter
SPU - LLVM Recompiler w/accurate xfloat
GPU - Vulkan w/write color buffers, strict rendering mode and disable async shader compiler
(Your results may vary. These are not the "optimal settings" just what worked for me.)


*Crashes a lot. Had to clear SPU cache before starting after a crash.

Almost Playable
Beaten the game from start to finished including 50 Eps without crash/freezing.  Gameplay FPS is Variable. (HDD data  is successfully installed and new set of PPU module are successfully built | FPS performance is stable at the entire game regardless of 60FPS output [Menu/Cutscenes/Helicopter scene & Gameplay] | Continuous Hours of gameplay/Combat Deployment/Platform construction have No crashes at all).  Sound/Effects are clearly working. (ONLY Ep1 might introduce 2-time Noises (When Hidden under the Bed) for few second, which is cleared by its own).  Graphic/Cutscenes are heavily well-rendered with non-default setting :-
 -- WCB & Threshold setting are required to correct character/dark environment/lighting & blooming effect.
 -- Dark/Blurry faraway cloud/terrain happens at sun set/rise moment during open-world, which quickly rendered once closing by in direction.
 -- Lake & grass texture in Africa got heavily mesh trimming effect during the beginning period of night/morning, whereas afternoon, mesh trimming visualized so perfectly.
 -- Graphic quality, such as Mist Brightness ONLY on Ep20 (under bridge valley road) / lighting beam / mesh trimming / few environment details, is performing differently compared to PS4/XB1/PC version.

# Gameplay/Motherbase FPS = (29~39~40) – With WCB & Correct lighting
# Menu/Helicopter Cutscene FPS = (54~59~60)

Enable Write Color Buffer (GPU)                                          => Fix Object/Dark Environment Effect
Set Res. Scale Threshold = 512 x 512 (GPU)                       => Sharpen almost Misalign Lighting/Bloom Effect

Seems fully playable. I played for 2 hours with no issues at all.

I ended up playing about 3 hours. too many cut scenes for my taste. It did crash on my once during my play, but when I reloaded game, it picked right back up, at the last check point.

I need to see how it runs in the open world areas, during fights or running around with horse etc.

Something has happened with this game since the build I last played it on. I can only play a few minutes and it totally locks the emulator. I need to bring up task manager, to end the program.

RPCS3 v0.0.28-15372-38a5313e Alpha | master - It seemed to be working good
But now on RPCS3 v0.0.29-15419-8cd57ea Alpha | master - It will lock up within a minute or so of game-play.

I reverted back to version: RPCS3 v0.0.28-15410-c108b319 Alpha | master and the problem went away. I loaded the same checkpoint and had no issues, except for my skills.

Almost Playable
