game seems playable on the latest version. the audio glitches are there still, and the frame rate needs to be limited but the visual glithches present in old versions seem to have disappeared.

Tested up to the death of beatrice.

Thanks for the update! What does the framerate need to be set to and what kinds of audio issues are there?

The graphical issues have been gone for a long time, probably over a year. Audio issues are in the cutscenes.
The three main concerns i have with this game are:
Cutscene audio
And physics issues e.g at descent into Violence stage.
Some people reported it crashes when killing the boss "Death" near the start of the game, need to know if that's still happening, and if it is. Do these users have a verified dump?

As for the physics issues, they may even be fixed, need someone to try and finish the game to see if it's still there.
If it's fixed and you can finish the game without any work-arounds we can move this to playable.

am able to get past death no issue. THere are some minor graphics issues still. up until today, the screen would constantly flicker , going black then returning to normal. Now when cut scenes load you see a rectangle briefly on the screen. The audio is also cutting in and out and lagging constantly during cut scenes. Had to set game to 60fps to get it to function as it was running at 250fps.

I get heavy audio stutter on cutscene video playback, but that's probably due to low end CPU.
Game runs mostly fine otherwise.

Game runs beautifully at 4k, 60fps(59). Never had any frame drops, unless you consider 30fps during in-game cut scenes, and I've never had audio issues. Game has never looked better.  Cool
Only had a couple problems, one is the shadows/effects when first meeting the shadow demon dude who takes Beatrice in the beginning. It's during an in-game cut scene and is no problem whatsoever in terms of affecting game play.  Wink
Other than that there is the occasional game crash but it's inconsistent.
The other is during right after the sins of a father boss fight, where after killing the flying demons on the moving platform the lever does not reappear from the floor
---never mind, as it turns out there is an enemy flying bat AI thing hovering in the air behind you back at the path you had just came from. Either throwing some extra holy attacks off screen while killing them on your way to the lever platform or after defeating the spinning demon and little demons throwing some holy attacks into the air from the direction you came from (maybe slightly to the right) and you'll be good to go. Leaving picture as reference to area. Angel

What exactly i mean about the shadow dude
This post was last modified: 05-18-2019, 10:07 PM by jkolpie. Edit Reason: Wanted to show an example/proof of the shadow/effects of the demon dude during in-game cut scenes.
