Those "errors" mean nothing.

Maybe the game crashes because it's too fast. Try 30 fps limit.

Hello everyone!

I have been having issues trying to make that game work. Both the graphics and the sound were broken.

I checked the "convert to 16-bit" checkbox in the audio menu and it fixed the sound, but graphics were still really buggy (same issue as jazjaz36 on the 27th of july). I then tweaked a bit my GPU presets, ticked "Strict rendering mode" but it still wouldn't work. I then put PPU Decoder to Fast Interpreter and suddenly the graphics started working correctly, but the sound got as broken as it was before ticking "convert to 16-bit".

Ever since, the graphics has been working and the sound has been broken, no matter how I tweak the presets.

Any insight on what might be happening?

edit : I'm sorry, I did not realise that some informations was missing. I'm using the OpenAL audio because XAudio2 won't load.

I have 16Gb ram (some 2133mhz shit), i7-4790k as CPU and a gtx 960 as GPU. I also limited the fps to 30.

Right click your game and delete shader caches.

Game still freeze after a short amount of time if you use Vulkan which is a shame because it runs so much better than OpenGL. Unfortunately the log doesn't show anything, it's just the emulator that freeze/crash.

Form sound your post you have same issuse as I did yes I know fix crash. Open RPCS3 CPU configuration under Additional Settings uncheck Bind SPU threads to secondary, Lower SPU thread priority and Enable SPU Loop Detection. Yes them setting help speedup rpcs3 but cause all tales of game freezeup .

i posted some detailed info here:
https://github.com/RPCS3/rpcs3/issues/3474

on this game, unfortunately still plagued by the same problems, although i haven't made it out of the prologue, not sure if blurred skits or the transparency issues get fixed. game might run a little faster in opengl on the newest build.

Vulkan, through my testing, is still crashing when using Strict Rendering Mode. if you don't use strict rendering mode you get the invisible characters and the green areas, looks like everything is flipped. so there's that. although if you can deal with the blurred skits and the weird transparency lines, it runs pretty fast for me on Opengl

in lastest commit, Vulkan no longer crashes during prologue for me, still transparency issues and blurred skits in prologue.  Vulkan used to just crash almost immediately once in game, so it's a big improvement since vulkan runs the game very well, much better than openGl.

it's not an official build, but i imagine it's going to be available soon.  you can get the appveyor artifact if you want to play around with it now.

https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rpcs3/rp.../artifacts

i would recommend just waiting for the build to be officially merged though.

Hello everyone, I have the following error showing up with a black screen:

Code:
F {rsx::thread} class std::runtime_error thrown: Verification failed (e=0x57):
(in file C:\rpcs3\Utilities\VirtualMemory.cpp:83)

I keep having this problem when I get back to Dalen's Manor in Gralesyde when Hubert joined me after clearing Strahta Desert Ruins

https://imgur.com/UY92UDU << black screen when I want to go to the manor with the above runtime error.

Anyone knows if it's a known bug or if there's a way to fix this with settins? I'm using default OpenGL settings with Strict rendering Mode (tried with Vulkan but same thing happens).

Thanks in advance!
