Not playable anymore on 0.0.5-6592: with ppu on interpreter (fast), it crashes at the loading screen with:
E {PPU[0x100000f] Thread (_UNITY_) [0x00ad6cf4]} MEM: Page_fault reading location 0x8025fcf0 because of using unmapped memory
F {PPU[0x1000001] Thread (suspend_handler) [0x01545640]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x0

On 6647, it works again with PPU Interpreter (fast). PPU Recompiler throws an error: F {PPU[0x1000005] Thread (UnityMain) [0x0154febc]} St13runtime_error thrown: Unregistered PPU function
Speed is about 20-30fps on Linux, i7-4770k, r9 fury

framerate is too low on interpreter to be consider playable...

starts out at 60 fps but as soon as enemies starts to show, drops to 30fps or so.

tests on 7700k or beefier should not be taken as a rule. this might be the problem with sky force anniversary, blazerush and steredenn. I sugest to get these games to work with PPU recompiler again, or move to IN GAME.

RPCS3 v0.0.5-6737-a46ef4f29 Alpha | HEAD

Intel® Core™ i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz | 12 Threads | 15.93 GiB RAM | AVX+ | TSX

While it does require PPU fast and it does keep it from being consistently 60, I could never get it to go below 40. Game showed no noticeable slowdown for me or any issue as a result of dipping to that fps.
Usually hung out at ~50fps for me, but heavier combat (like in the little intro section where you have an upgraded plane) does go anywhere from 40 to 50. Unless the lategame missions are particularly problematic with fps, I wouldn't say the drops are big enough to move this thread back.

Aside from the fps dips brought in with PPU fast I saw no other issue in the time I played, but I only tested it for about 15 minutes.

not even an i7-8700K can get 60fps... the game relies HEAVILY on fps... it's not like 'race the sun' or something like this.... come on guys, this title unfortunately is not playable.

this game is still as "playable" based on a 40fps experience of a 8700k i7.

i repeat: this is not playable by any means. (not for 97% of people)

Why are you saying it's a "40fps experience of a 8700k i7."
When the post above yours clearly says 50fps and screens show 46 and 49 fps?
I can ask Deminating to test it again, but in my opinion this still looks to be playable, especially when we've had more speed improvements lately.
