Very minor update, seems SPU interpreter improves graphics a decent bit. Still very blue tinted.
Naturally SPU interpreter lowers FPS.

Almost same error I get.  F 0:00:34.309509 {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00506ea4]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0xfd3e2ffe After looking at the log, I searched location which pointed me to GPR[29] = 0xfd3e2ffe. No clue as to why this happens either, but after rebooting windows the game works fine again until it either crashes or I quit and try to restart it again. Besides this, I've gotten about 2 hours into the game, where you join up with Victor, Gunter, and Hana to take on the enemies army.I forgot the add what version of RPCS3, my bad. rpcs3-v0.0.7-9231-6388c980_win64.

Has anyone tested this in the last 6 months?  I don't have access to the game, so I can't test it myself, but I would get it if the game runs at full speed with only minor issues on some configuration.

Can anyone help with configuring settings for this game if the fps is noticeably low? After spending all day I finally got to the title load game new game screen where the fps is already starting to drop.

The game sadly still suffers from the same issues as some have mentioned above.

Tried different combinations of settings, but the game will always inevitably crash. (I get around 5-20 minutes of play-sessions before it happens.)
Also needs a windows reboot if you want to boot the game a second time. A bad game dump perhaps?

Errors of the crash at startupAppendix: RPCS3 [1]

TWO QUESTIONS I NEED ANSWERED.
Question 1 are my computer specs enough to handle a more top of the line ps3 game like this when it does go to the playable.  As I need an answer to this within the next week.  If the answer is yes is my computer largely more than what would be needed for it.
Question 2 If I got to the start menu on my old computer just with bad fps why cant I get to it on my newer much more up to date new computer.

My star ocean integrity and faithlessness will not complete its boot on my new computer just my old computer.  There are a few different errors but the one that ends it is a memory issue.

Things that have been tried new fresh emulator and game dump
Restart on computer many times over
clearing the catch
changing to Vulcan
Changing the resolution to 1280 x 720
tried to find an old version from 940+ days ago to test out a theory on forums that to be clear still makes no sense.
Updating the amd graphics./windows updates and c++ 2019
Running ccleaner and disk cleanup
UPDATE: someone else tried this and ran into the same issues.  I am having here.  Upon a VERY small comparison of computers i saw we both have AMD graphics.

What's really weird is i got this to work with very little problems on my old much less up to computer just with heavy lag all the way to the game start but on a new computer i just got earlier this week it simply will not work.  Tales of graces seems to work fine I should mention as a test game at least to the start of it.

Here is one log on the first attempt of the boot up on a fresh emulator and a second log as what it does each time after you boot it up.  (even with restarts)

First one is the original boot gets stuck like this and just hangs there indefinitely.(it says in game but does not actually play any music or have any pictures files)
Second is what it does each time after you boot it the first.(edited)

First is what it does each time after you boot it up the first time.

After tweaking with some different settings, I had a play-session which lasted quite longer than my usual ones. From the regular 5 to 20 minutes sessions to at least 2 hours. However, It did gave me a new error I had not encountered before:

E {RSX [0x01cbfc0]} RSX: FIFO error: possible desync event (last cmd = 0x60409f80)

Followed by the usual:

F {RSX [0x01bb778]} VM: Access violation reading location 0xcf900000 (unmapped memory)

I had to split up the log file in parts due its size.

- RPCS3 v0.0.16-12258-8bd58b1a Alpha | HEAD
- Intel® Core™ i7-7700HQ CPU @ 2.80GHz | 8 Threads | 15.85 GiB RAM | TSC: 2.808GHz | AVX+ | FMA3
- Operating system: Windows, Major: 10, Minor: 0, Build: 19041, Service Pack: none, Compatibility mode: 0
- RSX: Vulkan-compatible GPU: 'NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060' running on driver 466.27.0.0
- SYS: Firmware version: 4.87

Wanted to give this game another shot a year later since my last attempt. Had a session lasting 30 minutes before the game froze on me.
Giving me an identical error since last time:

E RSX: FIFO error: possible desync event (last cmd = 0x3f800000)

With some minor errors here and there, but assumingly that's due the settings I am using: (Not the full list, just putting a few here to showcase the error types.)

E SYS: 'sys_fs_stat' failed with 0x80010006 : CELL_ENOENT, “/dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/itemimage165.aif” [1]
E SYS: 'sys_fs_stat' failed with 0x80010006 : CELL_ENOENT, “/dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/itemimage165.aif” [2]
E SYS: 'sys_fs_stat' failed with 0x80010006 : CELL_ENOENT, “/dev_bdvd/PS3_GAME/USRDIR/itemimage165.aif” [3]
E RSX: FS exports depth component but depth test is disabled (INVALID_OPERATION) x78

Surprisingly I didn't encounter any:

VM: Access violation reading location (unmapped memory)
