Finally, I got it fixed for mine by setting the SPU block size to 'Giga' and Vblank rate to '120'

I'm having the exact same issue.  Is it possible you could list your settings.  Thank you

I also need some assitance. I tried run this game but from this cutscene to the game itself, is choppy and stutters a lot. I got an up and down on the fps between 60 and 1.

I think i have enough hardware to run it: i54690k, 16 GB of RAM, SSD 256GB, GTX 970 4GB

Can someone help me with it?? I think the issue here is the settings i'm putting, but i couldn't make it run smooth. I tried several configs, but none felt smoth

It might be the spu llvm or shader cache building.

I am still stuck on the bridge. It freezes. I tried many times the whole game from beginning. I tried also other iso with other serial. Also version 1.00 and 1.04 still the same place crashed. I do not know what else to do with this, what is the problem.
Hey there, I had the same problem and found a solution, try it if you're still stuck on that bridge.

Basically all I did was follow some advice from reddit, I'll link the thread. Only had to change a couple settings and now I've gotten past the bridge, but we'll see if there'll be any other freezes later in the game.

Here's the link https://www.reddit.com/r/rpcs3/comments/...o_crashes/

All my settings were set to default except for the resolution wich I upscaled to 4k. As the user "denissekac" on reddit suggested, I turned off all options in "additional settings" in the cpu options, limited preferred spu threads to 4 and limited max fps to 60. And the PPU Decoder is set to Interpreter (fast). After that I was able to get past that bridge.

Hope this helps!

I just tried it and it is working. Amazing. I got past the bridge without freezing with this settings. Thank you!
No problem man, I'm glad that it worked for you too  Big Grin I was able to finish the game, although there were two or three freezes later in the game so I had to tweak the settings a bit more, set the PPU Decoder to fastest after the first freeze I believe and later on the Preferred SPU Threads to 3 and had no more freezes after that.

I have finished the game with this settings till the end without a single crash. I did not have to change anything after this. Great game  Smile

Seems like the settings that helped me fixed the audio stuttering in the CGI cutscenes is now causing the emulator to crash in the latest build when booting the game. SPU block size cannot be set to Giga anymore. Any idea why? Sad

[Update] Found out the real culprit this time. Actually it's CPU-related. I don't know if it applied to Intel chip but I'm using Ryzen 5 2600 and I need only to disable 'Thread Scheduler' for the game to run flawlessly with no cutscene sound issues. Big Grin
