Good morning !
To begin, I'ld like to be forgiven about my english, this is not my native language.
When I'm launching the game "Prototype" and others like "Infamous", I've got an error about access violation reading address 0x....
I looked everywhere but I never saw any answers about it so can someone help me to fix it please ?
You'll see in annexe a text file with the log's message.
Thanks,
Janicules.

Hello,
That's not the log file, that's just console output, please upload the full RPCS3.log file next time.

E {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00ace52c]} SPU: RawSPUThread[0]: Read32(0xe004322c): unknown/illegal offset (0x322c)

The game you're trying probably won't boot due to that error no matter what you tune up in settings.
An access violation is a general error and it doesn't have a specific fix, try testing again because sometimes it happens in one run and if you try again it doesn't.

And is that possible to fix that error ?
I tried to boot the game a lot of times but the message with the access violation is permanent.

We need the full log file, rpcs3.log, any individual error message means nothing at all without it's context.

As said, post the full RPCS3.log file so we can see what's up but I doubt there's anything that can be loaded that would make it go past that error. You should probably try running other games, big AAA titles like those won't run.

Oh I didn't even read that far. Yeah, no, sorry Prototype and Infamous will probably not work yet regardless of settings used an such.

In other words the most advanced best looking PS3 games to ever be released. These would be the most difficult to get emulated, and remember we are still at rpcs3 0.0.1 Wink

Regardless of settings used here this the bit below tells me you are using too old Intel graphics, so nothing will work:

·E {rsx::thread} RSX: OpenGL: initialization of glDepthBoundsEXT failed.
·! {rsx::thread} RSX: 3.3.0 - Build 20.19.15.4549
·! {rsx::thread} RSX: 3.30 - Build 20.19.15.4549
·! {rsx::thread} RSX: Intel

Or no actually, looks like you have a Nvidia Optimus laptop, you need to right click rpcs3.exe and run it with Nvidia Graphics. That said I don't think this error is fixable, your settings look fine otherwise.

But in the graphics' settings I choose the Nvidia so I don't understand why he is talking about my Intel.

That option is only applicable for DX12 with multiple GPUs I think. You need to right click on rpcs3.exe and click on "run with high performance nvidia graphics" somewhere. This is true for every program that does not a have a driver profile, not just rpcs3.
