Is that normal ?

Seems like some bad luck there... Maybe the SPU or PPU interpreter will work. Could be too slow, but start by testing them.

Trying OpenGL/Vulkan/DX12 could also make a difference.

Just tried all of them and putting both fast interpreter on PPU and SPU makes my game hang on the black screen after Atlus logo

Did you install the latest firmware version from the Sony website? 4.81 I think.

After a fresh install, the game gives me the following error :

"Unimplemented syscall sys_ss_access_control_engine -> CELL_OK."

then another fatal error comes !

The "error" sys_ss_access_control_engine is irrelevant, "every" game has it.

hey guys i'm new at this and i've this problem
i installed the emulator as the QuickGuide said
then i run the game and doesn't show anything but a black screen
and in the log section it stops in one line every single time

"S {SPU[0x2000005] Thread (CriSr thread)} SPU: Function detected [0x1e1b8-0x1e1fc] (size=0x44)"

And there's an error (i realized it because is a red line) in:

"E {PPU[0x1000000] Thread (main_thread) [0x00a84efc]} 'sys_spu_thread_group_destroy' failed with 0x8001000a : CELL_EBUSY"

and a pink line
"F {PPU[0x1000011] Thread (_cellsurMixerMain) [0x00ad30cc]} MEM: Access violation reading location 0x0"

It crashed just after this. I used LLVM + SPU Fast + Vulkan

This is the same problem I posted about but it wasn't able to be solved. The game should run if you turn off the SPU recompiler and use Interpreter (fast) instead but that's not very helpful since the game will most likely be too slow (15-20FPS) in game without the SPU recompiler.

Maybe ssshadow can take another look at it but the conclusion was that the issue was "super rare" and to wait for a new build. Would love for it to be solved but I've tried everything I could think of on my own.

I couldn't even go ingame, just look at the game's NG intro

You have to try more than once. It could randomly crash.

Yes I have nearly always 30 FPS with no graphics or sounds glitches with PPU and SPU Fast interpreters and DX12, and no freeze at all, but recompilers are laggy and sounds are crackly and sometimes the sounds stop and the game don't load any further screens than the main menu

Must be some really unfortunate sync issue. But at least the game runs at full speed for you regardless Smile

Good news I made a fresh install with the master build 4274 and now it runs very well ingame with Recompiler PPU and SPU :
OpenGL : always 30 FPS but graphical glitches (polygon meshes) perfect sounds
Vulkan : ~20 FPS with perfect graphics perfect sounds
DX12 : always 30 FPS with perfect graphics perfect sounds

Getting this error everytime I try to run with recompiler (LLVM) and recompiler (ASMJIT). I can run the game okay whenever using recompiler and fast interpreter, however the sound is quite dodgy and is out of sync with the gameplay. I hear no sound whatsoever when running recompiler and precise interpreter.

Using a I7-860 CPU and an HD 6970 GPU. Latest firmware straight from Sony website.

If any other information is necessary I can provide it.
