I never said to use PPU Interpreters though, that would destroy performance for no reason.

Anyway, audio is fine for me I finished the whole game, Jenci did too. Disable spu loop detection and try different spu thread value + different audio stretching settings. But either way this game is working fine so there's not much need for tests anyway :/

Has anyone managed to get rid of the stuttering sound WITHOUT TSX?

I tried pushing VBlank way beyond the normal limit, and the game has far more than enough performance to run fine (the 3700X can easily reach stable 100+ FPS, when the game is capped at 30). Still, whenever it reaches certain spots on the highway, and traffic is on, it just starts stuttering, and remains that way forever, regardless of settings, framerate (stock or not), etc.

The only setting I can't test is TSX.

I was able to get a GTR R35 mod for this game for the PS3 but the framerate drops. Anybody knows if it will handle mods on here without the framerate dropping?

I tried your suggestions but nothing worked. When launching the game I'm running at 30fps and the sound is ok for the first few seconds of the track and begins to stutter after and stays that way. It always stutters at the same point when I reach a certain point in the traffic. One sublte thing oto note was the stuttering was faster (shorter stutters) when switching to OpenAL. I tested individually the following:
Disable spu loop detection - Fail
Change spu thread to auto from 2 - Fail
Enable time stretching (75%) - Fail
Enable buffering (increase to 150ms) - Fail
Change audio out to OpenAL - Fail

Other settings:
LLVM PPU
LLVM SPU
Giga SPU Block size
Vulkan

rpcs3-v0.0.6-8437-f0bd0b5a_win64
Ryzen 3700x x570
RTX 2060
32gb ram

If anyone was able to fix this issue let me know. Cool

Yeah, this ain't working for me.
I'll go to boot the game and it it'll get to the Genki logo and close. Not the program, just the game.

What am I doing wrong?

CPU: AMD FX9590
GPU: AMD RX480
OS: Win 7
Build: RPCS3 0.0.6-8568-b70908c8 win64

I'm running with default settings

Tested using the settings in the log file (apart from TSX). Sound stutter remains.
