I have used your d3d12-wip.

With current d3d12 it should be possible to play the game, most of the gfx artifacts are gone except in the intro cutscene.

The framerate is quite choppy here, I think it's because some thread is busy loading data in a synchronous maneer.

Some issues in The Lure of the Sky stage and opening animation.
Saving message doesn't desappear forcing player to restart the emulation.

All the rest is pretty ok.
